What a pickup football game in KL actually costs

Short answer: RM15 to RM40 for one session, per player. The games listed on plus60 today run from RM30 to RM30, and the spread is almost entirely about the pitch rather than the football.

Where the money goes

A social game is a pitch divided by the number of people on it. The host pays for an hour or two of pitch time, works out what that is each, and that is the price. Floodlights and peak hours cost more, so the same pitch at nine on a Friday is dearer per head than at four on a Sunday. A format with more players on it spreads the hire further, which is why 11-a-side on a full pitch is often cheaper per person than futsal on a small court.

What you should not be paying for is a booking fee. plus60 charges players nothing on top of the host's price: the number on the listing is the number you pay.

These are live figures, pulled from the listings on 2026-10-08, not an average from somewhere else.

Why one game is RM18 and another is RM35

• The hour. Floodlit, after work, on a weekday is the most expensive slot there is because everybody wants it.
• The surface and the roof. A covered pitch you can use through a downpour costs the host more, and in Kuala Lumpur that is worth paying for roughly half the year.
• The format. Twenty-two people split a full pitch twenty-two ways. Ten people split a futsal court ten ways.
• What is included. Bibs, balls, a referee, water, match photos. The listing itemises it, and a game with a referee is not the same product as a game without one.
• Length. Sixty, ninety and a hundred and twenty minutes are all common, and the per-minute cost is remarkably consistent once you divide.

What it costs to hire a pitch yourself

If you want to run your own game rather than join one, you are looking at pitch hire divided by however many you can get together. That is the part people underestimate: the hire is the easy half and filling it is the hard half. Refunds, if you cannot make it

plus60's policy is the same on every listing: a full refund if you cancel two or more days before the session, half back if you cancel the day before, and nothing on the day itself.
